Follow the steps to set up the tax code.

Setup Tax Code User Defined List Values:

1. Touch System Config > User Defined Lists.
2. Find the Tax Code tile on the left side of the screen. 
3. Add all QuickBooks tax codes with a user friendly report description. Display value must match QuickBooks.

In order for a tax to be applied to a ticket both the customer and inventory item must have a tax assigned.
