Transfers
Transfers in SDX 3.2.1 and later versions are conducted the same way that shipments are. The Sell Screen no longer has buttons corresponding to Transfers and instead Transfers can now be searched for, created and managed directly from the Contract Finder. In order to set up yard to yard transfers you will have to make a small change to Yard Option Settings. More information on setting up your Yard Option Settings for Yard-to-Yard Transfers can be found here.
You can find an existing Transfer in the Contract Finder by checking the box for the 
search criteria. Transfers are differentiated from normal contracts in the Contract Finder by a Transfer description, as shown in the image below.

To edit the transfer, you can Edit the Contract, or duplicate the transfer by pressing the Duplicate Contract button. You can also add a shipment and create a Transfer from this yard to any of your other yards by clicking the 
Add Shipment button.
To create a new transfer, you'll first click 
and then select your Yard from the Customer Name Dropdown.
Then click accept and set the Contract Details in the Edit Contract screen as you would any other Contract.
You'll notice that Scrap Dragon has already flagged this shipment type as a Transfer since the Yard was selected as the customer. |
Then, you'll be taken to the Shipment Screen. Here you will finish setting up the Transfer. One thing to be sure of is to select the yard you wish to transfer to in the Transfer To box, the same way you would in select a Ship To customer in a regular Shipment.
To accept available Transfers, go to the Buy Screen and use the 
button.
