Administrative > Master Files |
The Master Files menu contains the tasks for setting up the master files. You need to complete these before you’re ready to use Scrap Dragon. You can also upload prices here.

Commodities |
View the commodity master. Add new and exit existing commodities. Search by name or commodity code. Your yard may consist of only one or two yards so that is all you have access to. Commodities may be Parent or Child commodities. Each yard has its own version of copper but they're linked through the one that's starred – the parent. This allows for consolidated reporting. The Parent commodity is special. You may push Parent pricing, for example. A change in price on parent commodity pushes the price to the Child commodities. Select all yards you want the pricing to go to and then touch Done. The scale, tier and rewards can be pushed too. Commodities may be available at only a few of your yards. In those cases, the commodity button is not shown for those yards that don’t purchase the commodity. Sub screens in the button maker cannot be selected in Back Office but the menus are related to the menu shown there. Multi-parent Cloning allows you to use the parent parameters for a commodity and quickly add that commodity and all its properties to another yard where it doesn’t exist. For example, to create Copper 3 for Jacksonville yard, do a Multi-Parent Clone specifying Jacksonville and then touch Done. If you search you’ll find Copper 3 in Jacksonville and appears in the Button Maker. |
Inventories |
View the inventory master. Add new and exit existing inventory items. |
Customers |
