Administrative > Master Files > Customers > Customers > Customer Maintenance >General Tab |
There are four tabs on which to enter details.
The General item is where you enter the customer name and address, identification, account details and select the type of customer. Some of this information will be automatically populated when the ID is scanned.
Note: At the top right, select the Type of Customer, set this customer to Active or Inactive. The Bar Code may be used for bar code maintenance or you may set up your own unique identifier to use in this field.
The Identification tab is where the identification details populate when the document is scanned. Make any changes you need to.
The Account tab contains account information. The Checkboxes on the left must be selected to enable the customer for the type of service they provide. Do you buy from the customer? Do you sell to the customer? Select each checkbox that applies to the customer. Select the currency this customer is paid in. Select the home yard for this customer. Created in Yard is automatically populated.
The Certificates tab is used to add and view certificates for this customer. Select the certificate type, add the certificate number and expiration date. Select the Is Application checkbox, set the Status to Active when you have finished adding the certificate information. Select the Batch Print checkbox if this certificate is to be batch printed. The Status is automatically set to Pending until until changed by the user.
